The Venue became an instant hit and within just a year of its launch, more than one lakh Hyundai Venues have been sold in India. 2020 Hyundai Venue BS6: Looks and Colour Options
The Hyundai Venue is a cool funky-looking compact SUV. At the front, it gets Hyundai's signature Cascading grille with mesh-pattern and blacked-out finish. The headlamps of the Venue are positioned on the lower half of the bumper while the turn indicators are positioned above. Also, the headlamp units are surrounded by LED DRLs. Moving to the side profile, one can see that it gets 16-inch machined-cut dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, it gets a roof-mounted spoiler and a big Venue badging on the tailgate. The Venue is available in eight different colour shades. They are Deep Forest, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Denim Blue and Titan Grey. The Titan Grey and Polar White shades are also available with a phantom black roof.

2020 Hyundai Venue BS6: Engine and Transmission
The new 2020 Hyundai Venue is available with several engines and gearbox combinations. It gets two petrol engines and an oil-burner and all three of them are BS6-compliant. It gets a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that churns out 83 PS of power and 115 Nm of torque. It also gets a 1.5-litre diesel engine that delivers 100 PS of power and 240 Nm of torque. The NA petrol motor comes mated to a 5-speed manual while the oil-burner gets a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Venue also gets a powerful 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. This turbocharged petrol motor churns out 120 PS of power and 171 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission).
2020 Hyundai Venue BS6: Interiors and Features
The new Hyundai Venue is loaded with features up to the brim. Taking the centre stage of Venue's dashboard is an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It is compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Hyundai's BlueLink connectivity. In fact, it was India's first smart connected SUV and it gets around 33 BlueLink connected car features. Some other features include an electric sunroof, Arkamys sound system, push-button start/stop, paddle-shifters, wireless charger and many more. The safety features include ABS with EBD, up to six airbags, ESC, VSM, HAC, cruise control, high-speed alert system, seat belt reminders, etc.
2020 Hyundai Venue BS6: Price, Rivals and Verdict
The new 2020 Hyundai Venue BS6 is sold in India in six trim levels - E, S, S+, SX, SX+ and SX(O) but with multiple variants. The price of the 1.2-litre Venue Petrol ranges between Rs. 6.70 lakhs - Rs. 8.31 lakhs while the 1.5-litre Venue Diesel is priced between Rs. 8.09 lakhs - Rs. 11.52 lakhs. The performance-oriented 1.0-litre Turbo Petrol model of the Venue is priced between Rs. 8.46 lakhs - Rs. 11.58 lakhs. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. The new Hyundai Venue rivals the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and the upcoming Kia Sonet. Talking about the verdict, so if you want a funky-looking, feature-loaded compact SUV with good powertrain options in the budget, then you should definitely consider buying the Hyundai Venue.
