Engine
The new Octavia will only carry one single engine option and that is - a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, TSI petrol motor. Yes, this powerful motor is seen on the Superb and the upcoming Kodiaq too will see it. We expect it to make 190 hp with 320 Nm of peak torque. This engine will be mated to a 7-speed DSG unit.

Features
The new Octavia will carry a larger 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car technology of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A three-zone climate control, virtual cockpit system, cruise control, 360-degree camera, virtual cockpit, panoramic sunroof and other features.
Safety
The new Octavia will carry multiple airbags, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, electronic stability control, brake assist and others. We can also expect front parking sensors on this one.

Price and Competition
We expect the prices to stick between Rs 18 lakh to Rs 23 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. This executive sedan targets the buyers of Hyundai Elantra.
