Mechanically, Toyota will not bring any change and will retain the 2.7L petrol and 2.4L turbo diesel engine. Earlier, a bigger 2.8L diesel engine was also offered but with the BS6 transition, it got discontinued. Since the diesel is widely popular, the 2.4L one makes as much as 148 bhp with 343 Nm of peak torque. It is offered 5-speed manual as standard and a 6-speed AT as an optional feature.
