Bajaj has recently launched a new variant of its Platina 110. The 2022 Bajaj Platina 110 ABS is now available at Rs 72,224 pan India. Bajaj Platina 110 ABS - Engine & Performance
Speaking of its engine, the 115.45cc, single-cylinder unit remains unchanged on the ABS version. With that said, this engine makes a peak power of 8.44 bhp & 9.81 Nm of peak torque. Bajaj offers a FI system into it that helps the Platina to churn out ARAI-claimed 80 kmpl of fuel economy. Additionally, its 4-speed gearbox helps in traceability inside the city traffic. All thanks to the light kerb weight; its claimed top speed is 90 kmph.
Features
The main talking point about the new Platina is its ABS. It has become the first bike in the segment to offer a single-channel ABS. Meanwhile, Bajaj has also updated other features list on it. For example, it now gets a USB phone charging socket underneath the handlebar. This feature has become a mandate nowadays & the company has acknowledged it for sure. Another update is the inclusion of the gear change indicator & gear position indicator. These indicators are present on the instrument cluster and help the rider to ride the bike more economically.
Design & Colours
The overall design of the Platina 110 ABS is unchanged from its sibling variants. The front end is equipped with the iconic single-pod headlight with a small LED DRL stripe above it. The front visor is tinted in a smoky black shade while the 11-lt fuel tank offers the Platina badging. Bajaj offers the new Platina 110 ABS in three colour options. These include - Ebony Black, Cocktail Wine Red, & Saffire Blue. Additionally, the funky graphics on the side panels of the bike make it look upmarket. At the rear end, the taillight, turn indicators, & the overall design remains unchanged.
Specifications
Speaking of the hardware, most of the bike is unchanged when compared to its sibling versions. In terms of suspension, the front gets telescopic forks whilst the rear end offers dual springs with Nitrox. Meanwhile, the tyre size on both of the ends is the same i.e. 17-inch. Even the trye profile is 80/100 on both ends. The 17-inch alloy wheels mean that the bike comes with tubeless tyres on both ends.
