Hyundai just released the facelifted 2022 Venue for the Indian market, and the company plans to release the facelift of its premium midsize SUV Tucson in the next month. The 2022 Hyundai Tucson is slated to debut in India on July 13 before going on sale in August. Along with Hyundai's new "Sensuous Sportiness" design language, the upcoming Tucson will be packed with features and cutting-edge technology.

The 2022 Hyundai Tucson will feature completely new LED headlights and a redesigned front fascia. The parametric jewel-shaped grille, which is finely merged with the LED daytime running lights, will increase the vehicle's upmarket appearance. For a sportier appearance, the front and rear bumpers will be modified, and faux skid plates will be added. The Tucson will have a wheelbase that is 2756 mm longer, offering the back passengers plenty of legroom.
The new Tucson's interior will include a completely redesigned dashboard with soft-touch materials. A bigger touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, improved BlueLink with more connected car technologies, a digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, wireless charging, ambient lighting, and other amenities will also be included. Several other safety features will also be included in the top-end model, such as the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), which will include cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, head-on collision warning assistance, 360-degree parking assistance, etc.

The 2022 Tucson facelift will likely share the 2.0-litre diesel engine from the Alcazar. However, we anticipate that it will also come with a petrol engine. Tucson receives a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine for international markets. Hyundai will undoubtedly offer AWD on Tucson's high trim level. The transmission duties are expected to be handled by an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The 2022 Hyundai Tucson is anticipated to cost between Rs 25 to Rs 27 lakh (ex-showroom) and will face competition from the Jeep Compass, Citroen C5 Aircross, and other high-end midsize SUVs in a similar price range.
