The fourth-generation Tucson, Hyundai Motor India Limited's (HMIL) flagship SUV, is about to hit the Indian market. Originally scheduled for August 4, the launch has been postponed by the company and will now take place on August 10. The brand has already started taking a bookings, and interested customers can book the 2022 Hyundai Tucson by paying a booking fee of Rs. 50,000.

2022 Hyundai Tucson
When it comes to the SUV's design, the brand's new global design language touts the SUV's attractiveness. It receives a redesigned dark chrome parametric front grille with integrated LED DRLs. The LED headlamps on the bumper are positioned vertically, and the front skid plate gives this SUV even more of a loud appearance. The roof rails help the SUV stand more upright. When paired with an illuminated light stripe, the large split tail lamps in the back stand out brilliantly.
The 2022 Hyundai Tucson will be available in two variants: Platinum and Signature. There will be diesel and petrol engine options for both models. The 2.0-litre VGT diesel engine produces 416 Nm of torque and 184 bhp of power at its highest output. 8-speed automatic transmission is paired with this engine. On the other hand, the 2.0-litre petrol engine produces 192 Nm of torque and 154 bhp of power. A six-speed automatic transmission is included with this engine. The diesel powertrain in the Signature trim can also be bought with a 4WD configuration.

The fourth-generation Tucson's Level-2 ADAS is its key highlight. Among other cutting-edge safety technologies, the ADAS capabilities include lane keep assist, lane departure assist, blind spot collision warning, and blind spot collision warning. To prevent accidents, Tucson can recognize other vehicles,two-wheelers, bicycles, and pedestrians on the road. A 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, hill descent control, hill assist control, all-wheel disc brakes, up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, and other features are among the Hyundai Tucson's additional safety features.
