The new model is equipped with an updated design and first-in-segment features and offers better safety equipment. As can be seen, the recently launched Hyundai Venue delivers 17.2 kmpl from the 1.2L non-turbo petrol manual and 22.7 kmpl from the oil burner. With the 7-speed DCT unit, the 1.0L turbo petrol motor delivers an ARAI-certified mileage of 18.3 kmpl while with the 6-speed iMT, the figures stick to 18 kmpl.

The new Hyundai Venue is powered by three engine options - 1.2L non-turbo petrol that generates 82 bhp of power with a peak torque of 114 Nm. This unit is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission only. The second and most powerful motor is the 1.0L, three-cylinder turbocharger engine that belts out a peak power and torque of 118 bhp and 172 Nm. This unit is now mated to a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT.
The oil burner is the most fuel-efficient and gets a 6-speed manual transmission only. This motor is the same as found in the Hyundai Creta, however, in the Venue, it is slightly detuned as it now produces 99 bhp of power with a maximum torque of 240 Nm.

In other news, Hyundai is all set to bring new-gen Tucson in the Indian market on July 13. The new Tucson will get features loaded up to the brim, top-notch safety equipment to offer and might as well feature ADAS too. It is likely to continue with the same petrol and diesel engine options, however, the power and torque figures could be changed slightly.
