2023 Bajaj Pulsar 220F - Details
Bajaj launched the Pulsar 220F back in 2007 & ever since it has been a hoot among youngsters. All thanks to its aggressive design, big bike feel, & explosive performance. However, the N250 & F250 duo was introduced back in 2021. These models were meant to replace the 220F but it looks like they couldn't do it properly. The huge & consistent demand for 220F followed even after its discontinuation. Hence, Bajaj has now reintroduced it.

Speaking of the latest model, it remains largely unchanged from the previous iteration. The design is the same & so are the specifications. However, Bajaj has introduced new colours and revised body decals on it. Additionally, the fuel tank gets carbon fiber graphics to give it a premium look. Meanwhile, the pro of 220F remains consistent; i.e. its lightweight chassis. It also has a bigger fuel tank than the Pulsar 250 siblings. Some of the highlights of it include - a projector headlight, LED DRLs, a semi-digital console, etc.

Technically, the engine is also unchanged. However, it is BS6 compliant as well as RDE norms ready as well. Mind you, it uses a 220cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled unit. This powertrain makes a peak power of 20 bhp & 18.55 Nm of peak torque. The transmission used is a 5-speed unit.
Verdict
The 220F is a testament in itself to its segment. It started the craze for performance in budget-oriented sports bikes. However, the 2023 model is largely the same as the 16-year-old model. So, buying it in 2023; is it still relevant? Well, this is something that you can tell us by commenting below.
