The figures mentioned above for the upcoming C3 Electric are based on the Peugeot e208. Both cars share the same platform. The India-specific C3 Electric might offer less power, torque, driving range and even a smaller battery pack. This will ensure that the C3 Electric is affordable and appealing to mass market buyers. We expect an ARAI-certified driving range of 300 km from the C3 Electric.

Tata Nexon gets a 30.2 kWh battery pack that delivers a driving range of 312 km. The real-time range exists between 200 km to 250 km. This motor generates 126 bhp of power with a peak torque of 245 Nm.
2023 Citroen C3 Electric vs Tata Nexon EV - Charging Time
The homegrown Tata Nexon EV can be charged in 8.5 hours using the regular AC charger that gets installed at your home or workstation. The battery can also be juiced from 0 to 80% in a matter of 60 minutes via DC fast charging.
For the C3 Electric, we expect the carmaker to offer less charging time so as to compete with the Nexon EV. We expect that the hatchback can be charged in just 6-7 hours via the AC charger and fast charging can be well achieved in under an hour.

Performance-wise, the Nexon EV max can do a sprint from 0 kmph to 100 kmph in just 9.9 seconds and gets a top speed of 120 kmph. The figures of the C3 Electric are yet unknown and can be found at the time of its official launch.

2023 Citroen C3 Electric vs Tata Nexon EV - Price and Warranty
Tata offers the Nexon EV with a standard warranty of 3 years/1.25 lakh km. The Li-ion battery warranty sticks to 8 years/1.60 lakh km. Tata Nexon EV is priced from Rs 14.99 lakh to Rs 17.50 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
We expect the C3 Electric to be priced between Rs 11 lakh to Rs 15 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It will carry the same warranty for the Li-ion battery as found with the Tata Nexon EV. The standard warranty of the electric hatchback is still unknown
