Hero Motocorp is preparing to unveil the 2023 version of its Xtreme 160R on June 14th in India. The brand has recently shared a teaser announcing the motorcycle's launch date. 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R
As of now the details about the upcoming Xtreme 160R are scarce but we anticipate it to feature cosmetic changes. One confirmed change is in the hardware of the motorcycle, the test mule has been seen with Up-Side Down (USD) forks which will be available in the 2023 iteration. The brand might also make some additions to the feature offering of the motorcycle. More details will be revealed on the launch day. On the features front it is expected to retain the same LED headlamp setup, digital instrument cluster and other modern features.
It is anticipated that the brand would keep the engine specifications the same. The motorcycle will still have the same 163cc engine, which produces 15 bhp and 14 Nm of maximum torque. A 5-speed gearbox will be mated with this engine. Additionally, the new engine will be OBD-2 compliant and compatible with E20 gasoline.

Upcoming 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R - Price & Rivals
The Hero Xtreme 160R will remain a strong contender in the Indian market, competing against the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Pulsar N160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, and other 160cc motorcycles. Currently priced at Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom), the motorcycle may witness a price increase of approximately Rs 5,000-7,000 upon the launch of the 2023 version, bringing the price range to around Rs 1.23-1.26 lakh (ex-showroom).
