Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) releases a new teaser of the upcoming 2023 Verna. The company has disclosed the sedan's dimensions as well as its interior and back row. The wheelbase and width of the Hyundai Verna in 2023 will be the best in its class. The sedan will also have the largest trunk in its class. With the 2023 Verna, HMIL is prepared to establish new standards for the segment. The brand's Sensuous Sportiness design language will be featured on the new generation of the Verna.

2023 Hyundai Verna Dimensions
The brand-new Hyundai Verna has been created to have an upscale appearance. The all-new Hyundai Verna now features the best segment wheelbase of 2 670 mm and the best segment width of 1,765 mm owing to improved engineering from Hyundai. A new benchmark in this market will be set thanks to the rise in overall cabin roominess and the addition of 36 mm in width and 70 mm in wheelbase.

With a focus on increased space for passengers in the second row seat, the all-new Hyundai Verna provides improved legroom and knee room, delivering lounge-like comfort. Also, the all-new Hyundai Verna offers improved shoulder room for front and back seat passengers thanks to its best in segment 1,765 mm width. The brand-new Hyundai Verna features a wider trunk opening, a phone holder, multiple bottle holders, a multi-purpose console, and glovebox cooling in addition to clever storage optimization.

2023 Hyundai Verna Engine
The 2023 Hyundai Venra will be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with either a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission, generating 160 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. Moreover, a 1.5 MPi NA Petrol engine with a 6MT and an IVT transmission with 115 bhp of output and 144 Nm of torque will be available. Each of these engines is RDE approved and ready to run on E20 fuel. There will be four model grades available for the next Hyundai Verna: EX, S, SX, and SX (O).
Verdict: The mid-size sedan market will see new standards set by the 2023 Hyundai Verna. Now, the VW Virtus has the largest boot, but the Verna will overtake it with a 528-liter trunk. Hyundai will likely include industry-leading interior elements as well.
