Tata Motors has officially introduced the 2023 facelift versions of the Harrier and Safari, starting at an introductory price of Rs 15.49 lakh and Rs 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. These facelifted models represent a substantial upgrade over their predecessors, incorporating numerous fresh design elements, features, and new variant nomenclature. Tata Harrier Facelift
The Tata Harrier facelift is available at a price range beginning from Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and extending up to Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The automatic variant and the DARK variants start at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The revamped Harrier variant lineup now encompasses a diverse range, including Smart, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Fearless, and Fearless+ variants. The automatic variants kick off with the Pure+ variant.
The new Harrier introduces a completely new aesthetic, featuring integrated LED daytime running lights (DRLs), a vertically arranged headlamp assembly, stylish 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, connected LED tail lamps, and a host of other design enhancements. In terms of features, it now incorporates a spacious 12.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a high-quality 10-speaker JBL sound system, dual-zone climate control, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), the inclusion of up to 7 airbags, and an array of other convenience and safety features.

Tata Safari Facelift
The Safari facelift is available at introductory prices ranging from Rs 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 25.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The automatic variants and the DARK variant begin at Rs 20.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
Similar to the Harrier facelift, the Safari facelift showcases a fresh design that includes connected daytime running lights (DRLs), a redesigned headlamp assembly, 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, connected LED tail lamps, and various other enhancements. In terms of features, it shares the same set as the Harrier facelift.
Notably, both the 2023 Harrier and Safari facelifts have achieved an impressive 5-star safety rating in the GNCAP crash tests. This highlights their commitment to safety and their ability to provide occupants with top-tier protection.
2023 Tata Harrier and Safari Engine
The updated Safari and Harrier models keep their current engine and transmission setups intact, without any changes. Both SUVs continue to be equipped with the powerful 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine, delivering 168 bhp of power and a peak torque of 350 Nm. Customers can still choose between the 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions for these vehicles.

The recently unveiled Tata Harrier and Safari facelifts introduce a plethora of significant updates. Furthermore, these SUVs have bolstered their safety features, resulting in both models achieving an impressive 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test. The Harrier Facelift continues to compete with vehicles such as the Hyundai Creta, Jeep Compass, MG Hector, and other SUVs within the same price bracket. Conversely, the Safari facelift competes with the likes of the MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700, and other SUVs that fall into a similar price range.
