2023 Yamaha R3 & MT-03 Details - What To Expect?
It was long ago when Yamaha used to sell the R3 in India. However, due to low sales, it got ditched. A lot of fo enthusiasts sought that it was a product ahead of its time. Meanwhile, the Indian performance bike market evolved over time. The current market is well held by the 250-500cc segment in India. Witnessing the sales of rival makers, Yamaha showcased its new R3 & MT-03 duo at a dealer event recently. It was done to gather the audience's feedback; which was immense. Hence, select dealerships have now opened bookings for both of these models.
As per the online reports, the new R3 & MT-03 can be booked from an amount ranging between Rs 5,000-20,000. The amount of booking is also dependent on the dealership chosen. Meanwhile, the prices of both bikes are still unknown. But, it is for sure that both of the models will get launched in another two months. Upon its launch, the R3 will rival directly the KTM RC 390 & TVS Apache 310 RR. Also, the MT-03 will rival the KTM Duke 390 & BMW G 310 R. Both bikes are based on the latest 321cc parallel-twin engine. This engine is known for its rich redline punch and reliability.

The global brand value of the R3 is high due to its intact performance and capabilities. Also, its naked cousin, i.e. the MT-03, offers a similar package but with a less aggressive riding position.
