When you first lay eyes on the Basalt Coupe SUV, you can't help but notice its distinct design. It's like a blend of a sedan and an SUV, giving it a unique appearance. It is likely to inherit the Citroen C3 Aircross's reliable 1.2L turbo-petrol engine, offering 109bhp and 205Nm torque. It may come with a six-speed manual or torque converter for smooth driving.
When this SUV launches in India, it's anticipated to be priced between Rs 12.30 to Rs 15.00 lakh. It'll be going head-to-head with competitors like the Tata Curvv, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and others.

Citroen eC3: GNCAP Crash Test Yields Zero Stars
The recent crash test results for the Citroen eC3 were disappointing, with the car receiving a zero score. In terms of adult safety, it only managed to score 20.86 out of 34 points, earning it a zero-star rating. For child safety, it didn't fare much better, scoring only 10.55 out of 49 points, resulting in a one-star rating.
Despite lacking key safety features, the manufacturer is dedicated to enhancing the car's safety. They'll introduce six airbags, ISOFIX mounts, and rear seat belt reminders this year.
