A few months back Hero Moto Corp launched the updated Hero Xtreme 160R 4V and now the brand has come up with the 2024 Hero Xtreme 160 2V. 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 2V: What's New?
The new Hero Xtreme 160R 2V now features a drag race timer (0-60kmph) which is derived from the Xtreme 160R 4V. Additionally, the 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V gets some cosmetic updates which include a new single-piece seat and tail light. As per the manufacturer, the new single-piece seat is more comfortable than the one used to come with the outgoing model. With a lower seat height, it caters for the comfort of both rider and pillion.

2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 2V: Engine and Power
The new Hero Xtreme 160 2V sources its power from a 163.2cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 15.2 PS of power and 14 Nm of torque at 8500 rpm. As it is a similar unit used to power the outgoing model, we can expect an average mileage of 55.47 kmpl in city traffic conditions
2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 2V: Hardware
In terms of hardware, the new Xtreme 160R 2V remains largely the same as the outgoing model. It still features 37mm telescopic front forks and a 7-setup adjustable mono-shock at the rear. For braking duties, the bike features a 276mm disc brake at the front and a 130 mm drum at the rear. Apart from this, the new Xtreme 160R 2V has 17-inch alloy wheels covered with 100/80 R17 (front) and 130/70 R17 tyres (rear).
New Hero Xtreme 2V: Price and Rivals
The 2024 Xtreme 160R 4V is available in a single variant which is priced at Rs. 1.11 lakh (much more affordable than the Xtreme 160R. 4V). The 160cc motorcycle will compete against the likes of the Honda SP160 and Bajaj Pulsar N150.
