The new GLA comes in three variants GLA 200, GLA 220d 4Matic, and GLA 220d 4Matic AMG Line. On the outside, you'll notice some subtle changes, like new headlamps with fresh internals and LED daytime running lamps that give off a cool eyebrow-like effect. At the back, the tail lamps have been spruced up with revised LED elements. There's also a slick new Spectral Blue paint option, and the front and wheel arches sport body-coloured aero elements.
Now, the GLA AMG Line is a bit more special, updated with a unique front grille and bumper, along with a roof spoiler and an AMG rear apron featuring a diffuser and dual exhaust tips. And let's not forget the classy 19-inch alloy wheels that this SUV rolls on.

Mercedes Benz GLA Facelift: Upgraded Interior Features
Inside, there are subtle updates. The AMG Line sports a new steering wheel with touch controls. The dual screens now feature Mercedes' latest MBUX system, offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The centre console is cleaner with revised switches, and the passenger side dashboard has a stylish carbon fibre-like insert with extra storage.
There's a new 3-spoke steering wheel, and digital dials now support different themes, including an offroad theme for 4Matic models. Noteworthy additions include a 360-degree camera, a gesture-controlled tailgate, and a new digital key for added convenience.
What Hasn't Changed in the Facelift?
The interior features of the GLA remain largely unchanged, with no removal of colour options and the addition of some new features. It still runs on the same petrol and diesel enginesa 163hp, 1.3L turbo-petrol, and a 190hp, 2.0L turbo-diesel.
The petrol variant is front-wheel drive with a 7-speed DCT gearbox, while the diesel variant has an 8-speed DCT gearbox and Merc's 4Matic all-wheel drive system.
Verdict
The facelifted Mercedes-Benz GLA offers a subtle makeover, introducing minor design enhancements and upgraded tech, making it a competitive choice in the luxury SUV market.
