The 2024 Tata Punch has been upgraded and still starts at Rs 6.12 lakh (ex-showroom). While there are no mechanical or styling changes, the feature lineup has been enhanced with a 10.25-inch infotainment screen plus wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. For added comfort, Tata has introduced a central armrest and rear AC vents, now called the 'Grand Console.' Additionally, the single-pane sunroof is now available in lower variants, revising the entire variant lineup of Tata Punch. 2024 Updated Tata Punch
The larger 10.25-inch touchscreen now replaces the floating 7-inch touchscreen in higher variants, sourced from bigger models like the Tata Punch.ev and Tata Nexon. Additionally, the half-digital, half-analog driver display has been replaced by a fully digital screen, similar to what we've seen in other entry-level Tata cars such as the Tiago and Tigor.
Additionally, a wireless charging pad and USB-C socket have been added. In the middle, a 'Grand Console' with an armrest is now included, and in the second row, you'll find rear AC vents and a 5V USB socket.
The 10.25-inch touchscreen starts from the Accomplished Persona of the Tata Punch, which costs Rs 8,29,800. Additionally, the Punch CNG variants have been expanded, now offering a total of seven variants ranging from Pure CNG at Rs 7,22,900 to Accomplished + Sunroof CNG at Rs 9,89,900. The top variant includes the 10.25-inch screen, a fast Type-C charger, and the Grand Console with an armrest.
Tata Punch Powertrain
The Punch still comes with a naturally aspirated 1.2 Revotron engine, which produces 87.8 PS and 115 Nm of torque. It can be paired with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. In terms of fuel efficiency, it can achieve 19 to 20 km/l with a light foot. The CNG variant, featuring twin-cylinder technology, provides an average of around 26.99 km/kg.
