2025 KTM 390 Adventure; What Will It Get?
In the spy pictures, we can see the placement of what looks like a cruise control button placed next to the hazard light switch. Another button with a +/- logo, likely to adjust the cruising speeds of the motorcycle is placed near the horn button.
It is possible KTM is testing cruise control on the new 390 Adventure for international markets only. In order to keep costs down, KTM may likely remove this feature for the Indian market. However, if the bike maker decides otherwise, the 390 Adventure could become the first sub-400cc adventure-tourer motorcycle to come equipped with cruise control.
The new 390 Adventure has been spotted in an almost-production ready form, and it seems to lose quite some visual mass over the current motorcycle. The overall design of the bike looks sharper than before. It appears to get a projector headlight setup, along with a sharper, new beak placed higher. The new 390 Adventure is also going to feature spoke rims and an underbelly exhaust for the first time.
The tail section of the new 390 Adventure looks similar to what we've seen on the first-gen Duke and it might evoke a sense of nostalgia among people. It also seems to get its switchgear from the Husqvarna 250 lineup, and a TFT screen setup placed higher like most rally-spec bikes.
The new 390 Adventure is also likely to continue with the 390 Duke's new 399cc, liquid-cooled powertrain, while the suspension duties will be taken care of via compression and rebound-adjustable WP Apex front forks, and the rear WP Apex monoshock with preload and rebound adjustability. In terms of features, things like traction control, ride modes, cornering ABS, and the quickshifter will be retained.

KTM is also going to showcase the 390 Adventure lineup at the EICMA, which includes the 390 Adventure, the 390 SMC R and the 390 Enduro R. All three have been spotted testing in India, and it is possible that KTM may launch them, along with the standard 390 Adventure.
Verdict
KTM's first stint with its Adventure motorcycles in India has seen a mixed reaction, and it aims to improve things considerably with the upcoming generation of the 390 Adventure. The 390 Adventure is going to come with improvements in various aspects, which should enhance its capabilities as an adventure-tourer motorcycle, and also increase its popularity among buyers.
