The Kia Seltos is one of India's most popular mid-size SUVs, and it has proven a hit for the South Korean manufacturer. Tata Motors launched the Harrier in the same year as the Seltos to compete with other mid-size SUVs in the Indian market, and it is likewise selling like hotcakes. Many YouTubers have previously created various types of videos on these two SUVs, and one YouTuber just did a drag race of Seltos vs Harrier.

The cars used in the video are Kia Seltos GT Line with a 7-speed DCT transmission and the Tata Harrier Dark Edition with manual transmission. The vlogger and his friends conducted multiple rounds to know a clear winner. And both the cars are driven by their owners and the vlogger was in the rear seat.
In the first round, the Harrier didn't have a good launch and due to a late shift in Harrier, the Seltos got the edge and won the round. Tata Harrier had a better launch in the second round, but it still couldn't keep up with Kia Seltos. The Kia Seltos SUV snatched the lead right away and never looked back.
The vlogger sat in the rear of the Harrier in the final round, and the Harrier launched perfectly with precise shifts, but it couldn't keep up with Kia. Following that, the Kia Seltos took the lead, the Harrier appeared to be struggling, and the Seltos GT Line was crowned the winner after all rounds.

It's worth mentioning that the cars featured here have different specifications; the Seltos is equipped with a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 138 bhp of power and 242 Nm of peak torque and is connected to a 7-speed DCT transmission. The Harrier, on the other hand, is equipped with a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 167.67 bhp power and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Tata Harrier comes with a price tag of Rs 14.52 lakh which goes up to Rs 21.81 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the Kia Seltos is available for Rs 10.19 lakh and goes up to Rs 18.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
