Ather Energy 'Eight70 Warranty' Introduced
Ather Energy has introduced the "Eight70 Warranty' for its Rizta and 450 Series electric scooters, available as an add-on for Rs 4,999. This warranty offers coverage for up to 8 years or 80,000 km, whichever comes first, with a minimum 70% battery health assurance. It includes full protection against manufacturing defects and failures, with no upper limit on claim amounts. Additionally, the warranty ensures that claims will not be rejected due to deep discharge caused by leaving the scooter uncharged or idle for extended periods, providing long-term reliability and peace of mind for Ather scooter owners.

The "Eight70 Warranty", however, does not cover damages resulting from customer negligence, nor does it apply if the battery has been modified or altered, as this will void the warranty. It also excludes situations such as theft, abuse, accidents, flooding, or fire. Additionally, the warranty does not cover the natural wear and tear of the battery or any physical damage to parts due to usage or external conditions.
