Who Can Participate in the Ather Upgrade Program?
This exchange offer is only for Ather 450 Gen 1 and Gen 1.5 owners, excluding the 450S model. Eligible customers must initiate payment, registration, and insurance processes promptly after handing over their old model at the Ather Space Experience Center in Indiranagar, Bangalore.
The service centre will inspect it to ensure it's in good condition to run and is free from any kind of traffic fines. Based on their assessment, they'll determine eligibility for the program. If it doesn't meet the criteria, it may unfortunately be excluded.
For those looking to upgrade to the 450X 2.9 kWh or 450X 3.7 kWh, all formalities must be completed by March 31, 2024. If you're eyeing the 450 Apex, you have until April 30, 2024, to get everything sorted. Keep in mind, that any eligible Ather 450X upgrades must come with the Pro Pack add-on.

Ather Upgrade Program: Delivery Timeline For The New Ather
If you're eyeing the Ather 450X or Ather 450 Apex, any ongoing offers on accessories or merchandise can be bundled with your Ather upgrade transaction. Even if it's second-hand but registered for the exchange program, the current owner benefits too.
Delivery timelines vary based on your payment method (bank transfer, cash, card, or loan) and the time for insurance and registration at your chosen RTO. The Ather Space Experience Center will keep you updated on exact dates.
How much Do You Have To Pay For The New Ather?
If you're considering exchanging scooters older than 36 months, here's what you'll need to pay for the new ones: the 450X 2.9kWh with the Pro Pack is priced at Rs. 80,000, the 450X 3.7kWh with the Pro Pack costs Rs. 90,000, and the Apex 450 is available for Rs. 1.10 lakh. However, the return rates for scooters younger than 36 months are not yet confirmed.
Ather Rizta Teaser Flaunts Water Resistance; Display Spotted - Is it TFT?
In a recent teaser, the Ather Rizta was seen crossing a trench filled with 400mm of water. The teaser revealed details like headlight placement and a front handlebar design resembling that of the TVS Ntorq 125 and TVS iQube.
Additionally, it showcased the Rizta screen, likely a TFT display. While Rather confirmed it will share its battery with its sibling, detailed specifications are still unknown. The new model will be unveiled on April 6th, during the community day.
