Audi India, on Wednesday, commenced the pre-bookings of its all-new soon-to-be-launched electric flagship, the eTron GT. The new four-door coupe EV will go on sale in October 2021. Audi has also revealed some teaser images revealing the rear profile of the coupe. Audi India has officially started accepting pre-orders for the new model across all its authorised dealerships.
The latest electric Audi e-Tron GT 4-door coupe is expected to be launched with two variant options to choose from S and RS. The e-Tron GT S and RS comes equipped with an 85kWh battery pack, offering a certified range of 488km and 472km, respectively. The e-Tron S electric coupe churns out 238bhp and 435bhp electric motors fitted at the front and rear axles.
The new performance-oriented cars are too sporty in nature. The e-Tron S is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 4.1 seconds before hitting a top speed of 245kmph.
The RS trim is a more powerful version of the e-coupe. The rear electric motor comes with a more powerful engine that offers 598bhp and 830 Nm of torque. With boost mode on, the electric motor power will go up to 646bhp. The new Audi e-Tron GT RS accelerates to 100kmph from standstill in just 3.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 250kmph.

The electric sedan is mated to a two-speed gearbox which sends power to the electric motor at the rear. The gearbox has a short ratio first and long ratio second gear to achieve better battery efficiency and high-speed performance It is also equipped with Audis Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
Talking about the new Audi eTron GT features, it gets a single 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity features, a 12.3-inch digital instrument console, connected car technology and multiple advanced driver assistance systems.
