Bajaj Platina 110 ABS Details
Platina has been an undefeated commuter motorcycle brand in India for a long time. The Platina 110, especially, has proved to be one of the best-sellers for the company. However, the addition of single-channel ABS in it is a big welcome from the customer's point of view. Bajaj has been known for providing the utmost features at the lowest prices. The Platina 110 ABS has proved to be yet another amazing launch from Bajaj.
Speaking of the ABS version, it looks uncanny when compared to the regular Platina 110. There are no cosmetic or mechanical changes done to it. The only change or addition is the single-channel ABS embedment on it. Meanwhile, it continues to be offered in a total of three different colour options. These include - Ebony Black, Cocktail Wine Red, and Saffire Blue. Other features on it include the LED DRL, 17-inch alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, etc.
The powerplant of the Platina is also one of its strongest selling points. It is powered via a 115.45cc, single-cylinder engine. This engine makes a peak power of 8.44 bhp & 9.81 Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, Bajaj uses a 4-speed gearbox with this engine. All thanks to the tunning and gear ratios, the Platina 110 can give an ARAI-certified 80 kmpl of fuel economy.
Verdict
Bajaj has been working hard on its products lately. The launch of the new Pulsar N160 & the Pulsar P150 this year are clear indicators of this fact. Additionally, the Platina ABS is going to be a boon for new customers. The enhanced safety is what the rivals like TVS Star City Plus, Hero Splendor Plus, & Honda CD 110 Dream now lag to offer.
