Triumph unveiled its Speed 400 and Scramble 400X motorcycles in the global market. These models represent Triumph's most affordable offerings and are scheduled to be launched in India on the 5th of July. Notably, these motorcycles mark the first products from the collaboration between Bajaj and Triumph. Ahead of the launch, online pre-bookings for both motorcycles have now commenced in India.

Triumph Speed 400 & Scrambler 400X
Triumph has opened the pre-bookings on its official website. Interested customers buyers can reserve the motorcycles on Triumph India's official website. The pre-booking process involves a refundable booking amount of Rs 2,000. The website does not currently display the pricing, as it will be revealed after the official launch on the 5th of July. Both these motorcycles will be manufactured by Bajaj Auto Ltd in India.
The Triumph Speed 400 appears to be a proper roadster motorcycle. It boasts a round headlamp unit, USD front forks, a single seat, a single exhaust can be finished in aluminum, bar-end mirrors, and 17-inch alloy wheels. A semi-digital instrument cluster, LED lighting, and an adjustable mono-shock at the back are among the highlights. The Speed 400 is available in 3 color options: Carnival Red, Caspian Blue, and Phantom Black.
On the other hand, the Scramble 400X has the same chassis and design as the Speed 400. It is intended for tough riding and trail exploring, though roads. Therefore, it has undergone significant alterations. It gains a higher handlebar a dual-can exhaust, split seats, off-road footpegs, a larger 19-inch front alloy wheel, block-pattern tyres side scuff plates, knuckle guards, and, a headlamp guard, for instance. Khaki Green, Carinval Red, and Phantom Black are the three colors that are available for the Scrambler 400X. For both bikes, the company has created 25 special accessories.

Triumph Speed 400 & Scrambler 400X - Engine
Triumph has equipped both of its bikes with the same 398cc engine, which will have a maximum output of 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm. There is a 6-speed gearbox available with this engine.
Verdict: The Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X will make their debut in India on the 5th of July. With their launch, these two models will become the most budget-friendly Triumph motorcycles available in the Indian market.
