BMW 7 Series is a popular choice among buyers who want the highest lvels of luxury, comfort and performance. While the kind of buyers who aim at superior comfort go with the S-Class, the 'Bimmer' enjoys its own share of buyers. With the recent mid-life facelift, BMW bombarded everyone with the big chrome kidney grille on the new 7 Series. The grille almost covers the entire face of the car and it feels out of place. Other than grilles, let's see what the BMW 7 Series has on offer in its first look review.
BMW 7 Series First look Review - Exteriors
The BMW 7 Series has a rather controversial design at the front. The huge kidney grille has moved ahead of its generations and now masks the whole front facia. Looks like BMW already knew about the Coronavirus. Jokes apart, the lower part of the bumper gets chrome embellishments which goes all across to the side of the profile. The huge grille is flanked by slim LED headlights which look sleek, especially when compared to the size of the grille.
The side profile of the BMW 7 Series is long and the window line gets chrome but if you get the M-sport, the window line is finished in gloss black. The wheels design and size also depends on the variant and the M-sport gets the sportiest wheels. The rear of the BMW 7 Series is rather sleek and gets connected LED taillights. The rear bumper, in the M trim, is blacked out and gets quad exhaust pipes. The 745Le model, being a plug-in hybrid, gets a charging port behind the front wheel.

BMW 7 Series First look Review - Interiors
The BMW 7 Series has undoubtedly the most exquisite interiors from the house of Bavarian Motor Works. The 7 Series still comes with the old interior layout of the BMW, unlike what we see in the X7 or the 3 Series which get next generation of interiors from BMW. That being said, don't guess that the interiors are dated by any means, there are tons of amenities are available to keep you in comfort. The central dashboard is tilted towards the driver and houses the touchscreen display and AC controls.
Talking about the features of the BMW 7 Series, we get all ventilated seats, ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, air suspension, rear electric seats with eight massage programs, electric front seats with massage for the driver, sky lounge panoramic sunroof, fully digital driver's cockpit, BMW iDrive controller, BMW gesture control, cruise control with braking, rear-seat entertainment, Harman Kardon speakers and multiple airbags with a host of safety nannies.
BMW 7 Series First look Review - Engines and Performance
BMW 7 Series comes with multiple petrol and diesel engines. With the facelift, BMW also introduced the 745Le trim which is a plug-in hybrid model. The top of the line trim is M760Li petrol which gets a 6.5-litre twin-turbo petrol engine churning out 609hp and 850 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to the xDrive which channels the power to all the four wheels. Thanks to the colossal power and dependent xDrive, the M760Li can do 0-100 in just 3.8 seconds, making it one of the fastest luxury sedans ever. We also get 3.0-litre diesel, 3.0-litre petrol and 3.0-litre petrol with hybrid models.
