BMW India has launched the M2 in India with the starting price of Rs 98 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand will bring the M2 as a CBU route in the country. BMW M2 Exterior & Interior
The M2's front end features a M Frameless kidney grille with horizontal bars that is aggressive and powerful in appearance. Additionally, the three-section lower air intakes of its M-specific design are nearly rectangular in shape. The vehicle has adaptive LED headlights, and the optional M Shadow Line lights give the headlights a dark hue. The side profile gets 20-inch wheels at the back and 19-inch wheels up front. Additionally, it has dual exhaust pipes, Blue Metallic M Brake callipers, and an optional M Carbon roof.
A BMW Curved Display, which has a 12.3-inch Digital Instrument Cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment display, is the centrepiece of the new BMW M2's driver-focused interior. BMW live cockpit, standard M Sport seats with electrical adjustment, simple entry, a 464W Harmon Kardon sound system, a HUD, parking assistant with a rear parking camera, and a professional and connected package are also included with the M2. The M Sport Pro package, M Driver's package, active cruise control, and driving assistance are available extras.
BMW M2 Engine Specifications
The new BMW M2 gets a robust 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo petrol engine, delivering an impressive power output of 453 bhp and a peak torque of 550 Nm. This engine is available with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard, with the option of a 6-speed manual transmission. When equipped with the automatic transmission, the car achieves an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, while the manual transmission variant accomplishes the same feat in 4.3 seconds. Additionally, the M2 comes with the M Driver's Package, which raises the electronically limited top speed from 250 km/h to 285 km/h.

Additionally, the driver has the ability to choose from three distinct setups that offer different driving experiences. The setups are comfort, sports or track-optimized. By selecting the EFFICIENT, SPORT, or SPORT PLUS settings, the engine's characteristics can be modified to suit the performance requirement. Similarly, the COMFORT, SPORT, or SPORT PLUS chassis mode allows the driver to access the three settings available for the electronically controlled dampers, providing varying levels of comfort and agility.
