BMW G 310 R & G 310 GS Discontinued

The brand has yet to officially reveal the details about the discontinuation of these two models. However, the report suggests that BMW has stopped production of these motorcycles since January, and the dealers across the nation no longer have any inventory of these two motorcycles. The likely reason for the discontinuation is the end-of-life cycle of these products, as BMW has not released an OBD 2B update for these models.
"The BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS are based on the same platform and share the same 310cc engine, producing 34 PS of power and 28 Nm of peak torque. These motorcycles were the most affordable BMW models in the Indian market. However, the brand continues to sell the G 310 RR in the country. The G 310 RR is the rebadged version of the TVS Apache RR 310 and comes loaded with a plethora of features.

In other news, BMW Motorrad is planning to bring the F 450 GS ADV to the Indian market. This motorcycle will be based on the 450cc platform and is expected to boast more features compared to the 310 GS. While the brand hasn't officially revealed the launch timeline, the F 450 GS is expected to break cover by the end of the year.
