We all are stuck at our homes during this lockdown and those who were planning to get a new car/bike have almost cancelled their auspicious plans. The outbreak of COVID-19 has hit the industry hard and the automobile industry, which had started to recover from last year's economic slowdown, is suffering huge losses these days. OEMs are trying their best to bring the pace on the track again but all this will take some time. News comes in that you can now book your Renault car online without paying a single penny!

As all the dealerships are closed, OEMs have started taking booking online. Some nice examples are Hyundai' Click to Buy and Tata Motors' Click to Drive platforms. You can either book or purchase your car from these online platforms without getting in contact with any person. Renault has also started taking bookings for their cars and you can book your desired Renault for free. There are three offerings from the French carmaker in India; Duster, Triber and Kwid. Renault Captur and Lodgy has been discontinued.
Renault is offering two ways of booking, one is the free booking with which you can book your Renault car without paying any money and the other one is that you pay Rs 5000 as booking amount and Renault will give a cashback of Rs 2000 on the delivery of the car. The paid booking method will get you a saving of Rs 2000 but to get the cashback, the booking and delivery must happen first. You can also choose your desired Renault dealership and the selected dealership will deliver your car.
One thing to point out that all the three cars which are listed for the bookings are BS6 compliant and there is no way to book a BS4 car right now. The car you book from Renault' online platform will be a BS6-compliant car and it will be delivered with new and updated BS6 prices. Renault has already updated the Duster, Triber and Kwid with BS6-compliant engines and there is no diesel engine on offer with any of these cars. Renault is soon to launch the Triber AMT, Triber turbo and Duster turbo petrol. We might see new launches from Renault after the lockdown lifts off.
