Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler maker Bounce Infinity has launched two new variants of its E1 electric scooter with removable battery. The brand has launched the Infinity E1X & E1+X with removable batteries priced at Rs 55,000 and Rs 59,000 (ex-showroom), respectively. Read details of the newly launched variants below. Bounce Infinity E1X & E1+X
The newly launched E1X comes with a 1.1 kW motor while the E1+X gets a 1.5 kW motor. The former gives an ARAI claimed range of 90 km while the latter gives a range of 80 km. The top speed of E1X is claimed to reach 55 km/h and the E1+X variant is claimed to reach 65 km/h.
The new variants are customized to fit any battery infrastructure. Both scooters come with three riding modes: Eco, Power, and Turbo. Moreover, it boasts features like LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, cruise control, and more. For storage, the scooters get 12-liter under-seat storage and most of the space under the seat is covered by the battery packs.
On the hardware front, both the models get telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the back, riding on 12-inch alloy wheels the E1+X boasts a wider tyre compared to the E1X. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes on both ends, further aided by a Combined Braking System (CBS).

Commenting on the launch of new variants, Vivekananda Hallekare, CEO and Co-founder of Bounce Infinity said, "India's potential in the electric vehicle market. "India is the world's second-largest two-wheeler market, yet the true benefits of EVs haven't been leveraged fully. EVs offer significant innovation opportunities, including making vehicles very affordable by separating the battery cost from the vehicle."
Verdict
As the demand of electric scooters are increasing the brand's are coming up with new and affordable variants. The new Bounce Infinity E1 variants comes with a competitive price, however this price does not include battery but the brand offers battery as a service and even after that the scooter comes with a competitive pricing.
