In 2019, the Indian automobile market saw the launch of many exciting products. Withnew cars and SUV like Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Tata Harrier, Hyundai Venue, Kia Seltos and more launched in 2019, the market will receive a slew of such exciting new products in 2020 too. Starting from January 2020, we will get to see fresh and exciting cars and SUV launches in the Indian market. Here are three new vehicles that will launch later this month.
MG eZS
After the launch of the hugely successful MG Hector, the British manufacturer will launch their first electric vehicle in the Indian market. The MG eZS will launch with an expected price tag of around Rs 22 lakhs. The car will get powered by a 44.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that powers an electric motor that generates a maximum power of 150 PS and peak torque of 350 Nm. It comes with a long list of features too. The eZS will compete with the likes of Hyundai Kona EV in the Indian market.
Hyundai Aura
The all-new Hyundai Aura will replace the ageing Xcent from the model line-up. The sub-4m compact SUV looks very sporty in design and also gets a long list of features. The Hyundai Aura will be the first car in the segment that will get a turbocharged petrol engine. There will be a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces a maximum of 100 PS of maximum power. There will be a 1.2-litre diesel engine that will churn out a maximum of 75 PS. It will also offer an automatic transmission as well.
Tata Altroz
The Altroz will become the first car from the manufacturer in the premium hatchback segment. The all-new vehicle will be the first vehicle based on Tata's ALFA platform. The Altroz will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20 and the Honda Jazz. It comes with a long list of features. The Altroz gets powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine option. Both the engines will only get a manual transmission. The Altroz is expected to become the most affordable vehicle in the segment.
