The year 2022 is coming to an end and like every other year, car companies have revealed their offers and discount schemes. Almost all the major car manufacturers are offering hefty discounts on some of their models which are further complimented by dealer-level offers. So today we have compiled a list of cars with maximum discount offers in December 2022.
Jeep Meridian
Jeep India launched the Meridian in May this year and it rivals the likes of the Toyota Fortuner in its segment. You can now buy the American SUV with benefits of up to Rs. 2.5 lakhs on the purchase of the premium SUV. The price of the four-wheeler ranges from Rs. 29.90 to Rs. 36.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
Pre-Facelift Mahindra Scorpio S11
The previous iteration of Scorpio which was reintroduced as Scorpio Classic can be bought with an upfront Rs. 2 lakh cash discount. Although the majority of the stock has already been exhausted, if you can find one at your nearest dealership, it will definitely be a great deal.
Jeep Compass
Another Jeep SUV offered with a highly beneficial discount scheme is the Compass. The offers on the SUV extend up to Rs. 1.5 lakh which includes cash discount, exchange bonus, loyalty bonus and corporate discount amongst others. The price of the Jeep Compass starts from Rs. 20.89 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs. 31.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai Kona EV
The Hyundai Kona EV is available with a cash discount of up to Rs. 1.5 lakh. Priced in the range of Rs. 23.84 lakh to Rs. 24.03 lakh (ex-showroom), the electric SUV comes with an electric driving range of 452 kilometres. The power output from the electric motor is rated at 136 bhp and 395 Nm of peak torque.
Skoda Kushaq
Discount offers on the Skoda Kushaq extend up to Rs. 1.25 lakh which includes a cash discount, corporate discount and a 4-year complimentary service package on select variants. The 1.5 TSI MT trim is attracting the highest offers and there are some extra dealer-level benefits as well.
Volkswagen Taigun

Tata Harrier and Safari
The Tata Harrier and Safari will soon receive a facelift by early 2023 and the Indian carmaker is offering discounts of up to Rs. 1 lakh on both the SUVs. Powering these SUVs is a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine putting out 170 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque.
Mahindra XUV300
The sub-compact SUV's top-spec W8 (O) trim is available with a maximum savings of Rs. 75,000. The prices of XUV300 start from Rs. 8.41 lakh and go all the way up to Rs. 14.07 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available with both petrol and diesel powertrain option and gets the option of a manual and automatic gearbox.
Honda City 5th Gen and WR-V
Honda Cars India is offering tons of discounts on some of its popular car models. Benefits on the City 5th Gen is set for Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 60,000 for manual and CVT automatic variants respectively. Honda WR-V, on the other hand, gets up to Rs. 72,000 discount which includes a straight-up Rs. 30,000 cash discount.
Nissan Kicks
Nissan Kicks is attracting benefits of up to Rs. 70,000 depending on the availability of stock at your nearest dealership. Amid some rumours hinting towards possible discontinuation of the mid-size SUV, these benefits can help the carmaker achieve some good sales figures.
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso and Celerio
Both the hatchbacks from the Maruti Suzuki stable are available with discount schemes of up to Rs. 75,000 for the CNG-powered iterations. The S-Presso and Celerio are powered by a 1.0 litre K10C petrol engine and come with the option of a manual and automatic gearbox.

Giving huge discounts on cars increases the value-for-money proposition for buyers, thus bringing down the overall initial ownership cost.
