The recently launched Kia Seltos facelift has quickly gained popularity among customers. It has amassed over 31,000 bookings in just over a month since its order books opened on July 14. With its attractive cosmetic enhancements, upgraded features, and revised powertrain options, the Seltos facelift has sparked significant interest. With a competitive price between Rs 10.89 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom), the model offers a wide range of choices for buyers.
As the demand is skyrocketing, prospective buyers can now have a clearer picture of the waiting period for this sought-after SUV.
Kia Seltos Facelift Waiting Period Details
According to insider sources, the Kia Seltos facelift is experiencing varying waiting periods based on its different variants. The top-spec GTX+ and X-Line variants are in high demand, with a maximum waiting period of up to three months. Meanwhile, the mid-spec HTX and HTX+ variants have a two-month waiting period, while the entry-level variants are more readily available. Interestingly, the waiting period is consistent across different powertrain options. However, certain popular colors such as Pewter Olive and Black have a longer three-month waiting period. Meanwhile, White and Silver options are more readily accessible.

Kia has reported that a significant portion, approximately 55 percent, of the total bookings for the Kia Seltos facelift are for the higher-spec HTX and above variants. Furthermore, the exclusive Pewter Olive paint shade, designed exclusively for the Indian market, has garnered considerable interest, constituting 19 percent of all bookings.
Powertrain
The Kia Seltos facelift offers a diverse range of powertrain options. Beginning with the Tech Line trims, there's a 115hp, 144Nm, 1.5 petrol engine paired with a 6-speed MT or CVT gearbox. Moving up, a new 160hp, 253Nm, 1.5 turbo-petrol engine is available with a 6-speed iMT or 7-speed DCT gearbox. Additionally, the 116hp, 250Nm, 1.5 diesel engine can be paired with a 6-speed iMT or AT gearbox, and these options are available across all three trim lines.
Features And Rivals
The 2023 KIA Seltos facelift boasts an array of exciting new features and enhancements. The introduction of a panoramic dual display system with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen and a 10.25-inch digital instrument console adds a touch of modernity to the cabin. Furthermore, the voice control system now supports multiple languages, a redesigned center console incorporates physical controls for the infotainment system and air conditioning, dual-zone climate control, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and leatherette seats. On top of this, it gets ADAS tech as well.
Since this is a hot space, it competes head-to-head with a strong lineup of rivals, including the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun.
Verdict
While everyone is competing for the top spot, Kia Seltos enjoys a position somewhere around the table top. However, the update improves it even more than before.
