Dacia Bigster Design
The upcoming Bisgter SUV will borrow various design elements. These include the headlights, tail lamps, fenders, grille and a unique-looking kink behind the C-pillar. The Dacia Bigster will be offered in a three-row seating configuration, thanks to its extended wheelbase that makes it more spacious and practical. The Dacia Bigster also gets a Bigster concept-inspired Y-shaped LED tail lamp. It is also expected to feature a Duster-inspired dashboard with a 10.1-inch and a seven-inch digital instrument cluster.
Dacia Bigster Other Details
However, the Bigster SUV will derive some of its controls from its smaller sibling (Duster), and it will also have some new design elements to be easily differentiated. This is mainly due to increased size. The company is also expected to offer a more powerful engine with selected variants. There are possibilities for the Bigster to feature an All-Wheel Drive system for better off-roading capabilities. While Dacia will sell the SUV in the entire Europe region, Renault will be responsible for other regions including our country.
Engine Specs
The Dacia Bigster SUV will be based on the CMF-B platform which is also utilized for the Duster. The SUV will have two engine options- a 1.2-litre and a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine. While the former will be available as standard, the latter will be limited to top-end trims. Both engine options will be available with 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrain options.
