Tata Punch Facelift Makes Spy Shot Debut
The upcoming Tata Punch facelift gets a significant makeover, especially up front. It trades its current look for a sharper, more aggressive design. Borrowing cues from the recently launched electric Punch, expect a fresh face with a new grille, headlights, and daytime running lights (DRLs). The makeover continues with updated bumpers front and rear, new alloy wheels, and revised taillights. Even the tailgate gets a refresh to complete the transformation.
These spy shots reveal an upgraded interior for the Punch, featuring a new steering wheel with the illuminated Tata logo a recent addition seen across many Tata models, including the Punch EV. The update hints at a potential feature infusion from the electric variant. This could include a larger, 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system, alongside a 360-degree parking camera for enhanced maneuverability.
Modern conveniences like wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, mood lighting, and an air purifier might also find their way into the updated Punch. In a safety boost, the facelifted Tata Punch ditches the current disc-drum brake setup for four-wheel disc brakes, visible in these spy images. Additionally, the updated Punch is expected to come standard with six airbags, an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and ISOFIX child seat mounts for all variants, further solidifying its commitment to passenger safety.

Look out for the facelifted Punch to potentially hit the market by year-end, possibly aiming for the festive season rush. This update will see the Punch go head-to-head with the Hyundai Exter, offering a compelling option in the micro-SUV segment.
