Goodyear Assurance ComofrtTred Details
Speaking of the new ComofrtTred range, these offer a blend of new design and tech for supreme comfort. These tyres have been designed with a trademarked AXN technology that provides a quieter ride. Additionally, these tyres have been equipped with an extra layer of notice cancellation & anti-vibration material. This has been built with Goodyear's Assurance compound. Hence, a more quiet and comfortable ride experience is achieved.
Adding to this list of comfort-oriented technology is the use of a closed tyre tread pattern. This new pattern of tread leads to the reduction of air-pumping noise inside the cabin. Meanwhile, the number of small tread blocks have been increased as well. These lead to lower impact force hence delivering a more quiet driving experience.
Increased Safety
In case you are wondering about the safety of these tyres; they come with enhanced safety as well. Yes, Goodyear has made sure that the braking distance is less in wet conditions compared to the rivals. Additionally, a high amount of silica is being used to increase the traction on loose and wet surfaces. The special tyre tread pattern has been specifically designed to cut through the water effectively. This translates into increased handling and more traction in wet road conditions.
According to the company, its main focus via this range is the luxury car segment. Models as such the newly launched Mercedes-Benz EQS have been targeted while designing the ComfortTred tyre range. Currently, these tyres are available in 7 various sizes in the Indian market. The prices vary depending upon the size of the tyre.
