Hyundai recently revealed its upcoming compact SUV Exter. The company has already begun taking bookings for the upcoming Exter for Rs 11,000. Both the official Hyundai website and all Hyundai dealerships are accepting bookings. The Exter variant details and colour options, which are available on the booking page, have also been revealed by the brand. The upcoming Exter will be available in 9 colour options and 8 main variants.

Hyundai Exter Variant Details
Exter will be offered in 8 different primary variants by the brand. The names are EX, EX(O), S, S(O), SX, SX DT, SX(O), & SX(O) Connect. These variations will be available from the brand with a 1.2-liter NA petrol engine. Only the S and SX model will offer the CNG engine. The SX(O) will be the highest-spec variant with all the bells and whistles, while the EX variant will be the lineup's entry-level model.
Hyundai Exter Colour Options
There will be 6 monotone and 3 dual-tone colour options for the upcoming Exter. Atlas White, Cosmic Blue, Ranger Khakhi, Fiery Red, Starry Night, and Titan Grey are among the monotone hues. Atlas White with Abyss Black, Cosmic Blue with Abyss Black, and Ranger Khakhi with Abyss Black are the available dual-tone combinations.

Hyundai Exter Engine Options
The Hyundai Exter SUV will have two alternative powertrain choices: a 1.2-liter Kappa petrol engine (E20 Fuel Ready) with a 5-speed manual gearbox (5MT), an automated manual transmission (Smart Auto AMT), and a 1.2-liter Kappa petrol with CNG engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. All powertrains have been tweaked to deliver consistent performance in a variety of scenarios.
Verdict: The Exter will be the first micro-SUV in its segment to be available with a factory CNG kit when it debuts. The SUV will compete with the Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and Tata Punch.
