Hero MotoCorp has marked its entry in the electric mobility industry with the launch of its Vida V1 electric scooter. With prices starting at Rs. 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom) for the V1 Plus and Rs. 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom) for the V1 Pro, the Vida V1 is available in two variants. In Delhi, Bengaluru, and Jaipur, delivery of the Vida V1 will begin in the second week of December, with bookings beginning on October 10 at a cost of Rs 2,499.
Hero Vida V1 Electric Scooter
At first glance, Hero Vida V1 looks is stunning, and Hero did a fantastic job with the design. The Vida V1 Plus has a 040 km/h acceleration time of 3.4 seconds and an IDC range of 143 kilometres. The Vida V1 Pro, on the other hand, has a 165 km IDC range and can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.2 seconds. The top speed of both variations is 80 km/h.

One of the industry-leading features of the Vida V1 is its custom mode, which has 100 configurations and allows the rider to change the peak speed, acceleration, regen, and other aspects to suit his or her needs. The three riding modes on the electric scooter are Eco, Ride, and Sports. Additionally, the Vida V1 has a two-way throttle that activates reverse mode. The battery of the Vida V1 can be removed and charged at home as needed and can be charged through a portable charger or at Hero public fast chargers as well.
The brand has conducted numerous tests, including a nail penetration test, a battery endurance test, and others. The Vida V1 is tested for distance of 2 lakh kilometres and for 25,000 hours in varied environments. The motor has an IP68 rating (can take thermal shock including sub zero temp). Vida V1 can scale 18 degree gradients with 2 riders. Limp Home mode is also available for the Hero Vida V1. The scooter may be driven up to 8 km (10 mph) in Limp mode.

The offers include 1.5 to 2 percentage points lower interest rates on loans, a 70% buyback guarantee between 15 and 18 months of vehicle ownership, 72-hour test rides, roadside assistance, on-site repairs, and many more to ensure a hassle-free ownership experience.
Hero Vida V1 will face competition with Ola S1 and S1 Pro, Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450X, TVS iQube and other high speed electric scooters in India.
