After a long wait, Hero has begun the delivery process of its new e-scooter V1 in Delhi. The Hero Vida V1 deliveries are now commenced in Jaipur, Delhi, & Bangalore. Hero Vida V1 Delivery Details
Vida V1 e-scooter was launched back in 2022 in India. With its launch, Hero MotoCorp promised exciting performance and ease of ownership. However, it took some time before its official delivery process began. Starting from Bangalore & Jaipur, the customer deliveries have now begun in Delhi as well. Additionally, its bookings commenced back in November 2022. Hero has now commenced the deliveries in the national capital. Meanwhile, the e-scooter is priced in between Rs 1.28-1.39 lakh ex-showroom. The prices depend upon the variants chosen. It is available in two variants in total - V1 Plus & V1 Pro.
Speaking of the V1, it is a premium EV offering from the company. It has a radical design with futuristic elements & utility-based features. Hero has equipped it with two battery pack options that include - 3.44kWh & 3.94kWh options. The first one does a claimed riding range of 145 km per charge whilst the latter does 165 km per charge. Additionally, it also gets four riding modes that the rider can switch between on the go. Meanwhile, the claimed top speed of the Vida e-scooter stands at 80 kmph.
The Hero Vida V1 Plus e-scooter is available in three colour options. These include - Matte White, Matte Sports Read, & Gloss Black. Meanwhile, the V1 Pro scooter is available in four colour options. The additional colour that the Pro variant gets is a Matte Abrax Orange.
Verdict
The commencement of deliveries in Delhi will eventually expand the Vida network. However, the rivals like Ather 450X Gen 3 & Ola S1 Pro are also opening new dealerships pan India. Hence, we think that Hero should speed up its V1 scooter portfolio to compete with the well-established rivals.
