Hero Vida V1 Plus - Design, Features, Battery, and Range
When Hero introduced its first premium electric scooter i.e. Vida, it was sold in two variants. One was called as 'Pro' and the other was called 'Plus'. The Vida V1 Plus was later discontinued. Now, Hero has again launched it without any changes. The launch price makes it Rs 30,000 cheaper than the 'Pro' variant. The design of V1 Plus is similar to the V1 Pro and so are its features. The only considerable changes are the performance and range.
The V1 Plus is powered by a smaller 3.44kWh battery pack whereas the V1 Pro gets a 3.94kWh. Also, the 0-40 kmph time of the V1 Plus is just 0.2 seconds shorter than the V1 Pro. Moreover, the maximum riding range claimed on the V1 Plus is 100 km per charge. The V1 Pro offers 110 km of range. The top speed of both variants is limited to 100 kmph.
With that said, both models are identical in terms of design, features, and hardware. The V1 Plus competes with the Ather 450S and the Ola S1 Air.
Verdict
Hero Vida electric scooter has been present in the EV two-wheeler market for quite some time now. However, Hero is suffering low sales volumes for it. To tackle the low sales, the V1 Plus model has been reintroduced. Do you think it is a worthy competitor to its rivals? Tell us in the comments.
