Rally Edition Booking Details
Speaking of the first batch, the bike was booked via the online channel. Hero has created a separate portal for booking the Rally Edition. However, the first batch is limited to 100 units only. It got sold out within minutes according to the company. Meanwhile, even after the closing of bookings customers continuously were asking to book the bike. Catering to its popularity, the decision of reopening the bookings has been made.
Eventually, the process is expected to remain the same. However, Hero has not poured the details about the number of units that the second batch is going to consist. We suspect that the second batch is also going to be limited to 100 units only. Additionally, the pricing also remains the same. This means that the buyers are going to pay Rs 1,52,100 ex-showroom for it.
In case you're wondering about the Rally Edition, it has a lot of changes. The first and foremost change from the standard bike is the paint shade. It comes with the Dakar Rally theme-inspired colour shade as well as graphics. Additionally, there is also an autograph by CS Santosh (Hero's Dakar Rally rider).
Meanwhile, the company has updated the suspension of the Rally Edition. It now gets a longer travel suspension both at the front and rear. However, the engine and specifications remain the same as that on the standard Xpulse.
Its only direct rival in India is the Honda CB 200X. So, tell us down in the comment section whether will you buy it or not?
