Design & Features
The design of the 300F has been taken from the bigger Honda CB500F. Honda sells the CB500F in some of the global markets. The design is sharp and subtle altogether. The front end embraces a smiling-face headlight with LED and a short upright-set tapered handlebar. The chunky golden USD forks are another highlight of the front design.
Speaking of the side profile, the large sculpted fuel tank is backed up by chunky extensions. These extensions have made the overall appeal of the 300F more butch. The split-seat setup looks comfortable. However, we will be soon riding the bike and our official review will help you know the real comfort levels of this split-seat setup.
The rear end is somewhat similar to the Honda CB300R which is already on sale in India. Additionally, the short tail and the 150mm wide rear tyre provide it with a chunky look at the back. Honda has equipped it with loads of features as well. The features list includes:
- Digital Instrument Panel
- Bluetooth Connectivity
- Hondas Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)
- Dual-channel ABS
- USD forks
- LED headlight & Winkers
- LED taillight
Engine & Specifications
Honda has equipped the CB300F with a new 293cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled unit. This unit can churn out a peak power of 23.8 hp and 25.6 Nm of peak torque. It has been mated with a 6-speed gearbox. The slipper-assist clutch has also been fitted to provide seamless redline gear shifts.
Speaking of the suspension, the front is a USD setup while the rear suspension is a 5-step adjustable monoshock. Additionally, the braking is also generous with a dual-disc brake setup on both ends of the bike. The front uses a 276mm single disc brake while the rear uses a 220mm single disc brake. The dual-channel ABS comes in handy during tricky riding situations.
