Honda India has displayed its green lineup at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. The lineup includes ADAS-equipped cars, upcoming flex-fuel vehicles, and battery-swapping technology. Honda CB300F Flex-Fuel On Display
The highlight for Honda at the Expo is its E85 fuel-compliant CB300F bike. It is a flex-fuel bike that aims towards green mobility. Powered by a 293.52cc single-cylinder engine, it runs on a mixture of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent petrol. The design, features, and hardware of it are similar to the regular model. Honda sells its flex-fuel products in global markets like Brazil where it has successfully sold more than 7 million products.
Battery Swapping Station
Another highlight of the show is the battery-swapping station. Here, Honda has displayed its battery-swapping technology that will help future EV consumers. Mind you, Honda has already tied up with PSUs in India to set up battery-swapping stations in tier 1 cities. One can subscribe to Honda's swapping plan, and bring their EV with the discharged battery, and swap it with a charged one.
Honda Sensing Technology - ADAS
While it is not new, the Honda Sensing Technology is also on display. Widely known as ADAS, the Honda Sensing is now available on the new fifth-gen City sedan and the Elevate SUV. It gets features like blind sport monitoring, front collision safety warning, auto-braking to avoid front collisions, etc.
Along with it, Honda has also showcased its revolutionary two-motor hybrid technology which is sold via the City Hybrid in India.
