Honda CRF300L ADV Details
Speaking of the bike itself, it is based on pure rally pedigree. The design is that of an off-road lightweight ADV bike. Honda has designed the CRF300L as per the rally bike segment standards. Hence, a slim and nimble body is what appears to have formed its design of it.
The spied bike was standing at a Honda dealership as it featured the Honda's famous red paint scheme. The fuel tank is nimble and light as it only carried 7.8-lt of fuel. The rider seat is a single-piece unit with minimum comfort as it appears. The overall slim layout is further added by the raised beak. Thanks to the USD fork set up at the front.
Honda has equipped the CRF300L with a 296cc, single-cylinder, air-oil-cooled engine. This is the same unit as seen on the Honda CBR300R. It produces a peak power of 26 hp and 26.6 Nm of peak torque. Honda uses a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper-assist clutch function as well.

It is based on the 21-inch front and 18-inch rear tyre setup. This provides the CRF300L with an amazing trail-munching capability. Additionally, the front and rear disc brakes are connected with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. The all-purpose tyres indicate more grip on the off-road sections.
Being a minimal motorcycle overall, the feature list is expectedly short. There is an LCD digital display, no Bluetooth connectivity, and no navigation, but only a gear indicator, trip meter, tachometer, and some other basic MID info.
While there is no information about the August 8 Honda launch; we suspect it can be the CRF300L itself. But, the Honda CRF190L has also been in the works, so, it's not sure whether Honda will launch the CRF bike or something else. Meanwhile, the rivals like the Hero Xpulse 200 are also working on upgrades. A bigger engine Xpulse is also expected to debut soon in the market. All in all, good times for ADV fans lay ahead.
