Let's look at the details of the latest Hyundai Creta rival.
Honda Elevate Bookings Open- A Look At Creta's Rival
Honda Elevate is Honda's response to the Kia Seltos and the Hyundai Creta. While it enters a fierce rivalry, the battle is uphill, but it does pack some tricks up its sleeves. Firstly, the looks of the SUV look bold with a massive front grille and the chrome brand logo in the middle. The headlamp unit is LED and also gets the DRLs integrated.
The rear gets LED tail lamps along with a now slowly getting common, connected light beam. The lower bumper comes with a silver treatment and the Honda logo sits just below the rear windscreen.

Features
Coming to the features, this is a pretty brimmed-up vehicle. Since we stated that, let's back it up with info. The Elevate comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that includes wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity. The interior features a leather-wrapped steering wheel, steering-mounted controls, foldable second-row seats (60:40 split), and 12V power outlets for front and rear passengers.
The safety package includes a camera-based sensing ADAS suite with collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, road departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beam assist. Additionally, it offers 6 airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, an immobilizer with an anti-theft alarm, ABS, EBD, and brake assist.
Honda Elevate Powertrain
The new Honda Elevate comes with a 1.5-liter DOHC, i-Vtec petrol engine. This engine produces 119 bhp of power and 145 Nm. Available engine options with the Elevate are a 6-speed MT & a CVT gearbox. There is no strong hybrid engine on offer at its launch. However, we hope that it makes its way sometime in the future as they did with the Honda City.
VERDICT- With the bookings open, Honda has finally set foot in one of the most competitive segments. It directly challenges the authority of the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun. It would be interesting to see the rivalry heating up more than ever before.
