The tremendous sale of its mid-size SUV Creta has helped Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) reach yet another significant milestone. With 15,037 units sold, the Hyundai Creta recorded its best monthly sales in January 2023. Since June 2015, HMIL has achieved benchmarks by selling 8.3 lakh units of the Creta.

What Makes The Hyundai Creta So Popular?
From the South Korean automaker's lineup, the Creta has consistently been one of the best-selling cars. It has a distinctive, eye-catching design language, a boatload of features, a wide range of variants, and several engine choices. Everybody can choose from a variety of the Creta range, whether they like a diesel engine, a turbocharged petrol engine, or a NA petrol engine. In order to stay competitive, Hyundai provided the Creta with periodic modifications that improved the vehicle's value proposition for buyers.

Along with a sizable panoramic sunroof and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple Car Play, and Hyundai's Advanced Blue Link connectivity, it comes with a lot of features. Depending on the model, the dashboard comes with an all-black or beige-black colour scheme, a four-spoke steering wheel, an air purifier, first-in-segment paddle shifters, drive modes, and terrain modes.
Good Petrol & Diesel Engine
It has a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine with 116 bhp and 144 Nm of torque and a 1.5-liter diesel engine with 115 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. While the petrol engine is paired with a 6-speed manual IVT transmission, the diesel engine has a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission. The 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine has recently been dropped by the manufacturer.
Good Number of Safety Features
The Creta comes equipped with a number of comprehensive Active and Passive safety features as standard. As of right now, the Creta is equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill-start assist control, rear disc brakes, seatbelt height adjustment, and ISOFIX as standard safety features. Contrarily, the Creta now includes a 60:40 split back seat as standard equipment.
