Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is all set to launch its top-selling SUV, Creta in an all-electric avatar in the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo. The brand has already revealed almost all the details of the upcoming Creta Electric. Today, Hyundai has revealed the interior features and other details of the upcoming SUV. Hyundai Creta Electric Interior
The Hyundai Creta EV will boast a dual-tone Granite Gray and Dark Navy interior theme. To enhance the cabin ambience the brand has added Ocean Blue ambient lighting. It will get a floating center console with smart open storage space. The Creta EV's dashboard will feature a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment and a 10.25-inch instrument console in a dual curvilinear design. It will continue to get the same HVAC control panel as the ICE version but the steering wheel will be a three-spoke wheel with Morse code detailing.
Additionally, the Creta EV will offer an 8-way power-adjustable driver and co-driver seat. The driver seat gets a memory function while the co-passenger seat comes with a powered passenger walk-in device, that helps the rear occupant to electrically adjust the front passenger seat forward to offer more room to the rear passenger. The seats in the Creta Electric are made of eco-friendly materials such as corn extract for artificial leather, recycled plastic bottles, and other materials. To enhance the practicality of the vehicle, The Creta EV will come with a 22-litre frunk and a 433-litre boot space.

Hyundai Creta Electric Powertrain
The upcoming Creta EV will be powered by two battery pack options, a 42 kWh and a 51.4 kWh battery pack. The former will offer a range of 390 km on a single charge and the latter will give a range of 473 km on a single charge. The EV will support DC fast charging which can charge the EV from 10-80% in 58 minutes.
Verdict
Hyundai Creta EV will be the first mass market electric vehicle by Hyundai in India. This EV will play an important role in brand's electric journey in India. The upcoming Creta Electric will compete with the Mahindra BE 6, MG ZS EV, and the upcoming Maruti eVitara.
