Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has revealed the upcoming Creta EV ahead of its launch on 17 January at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The brand has unveiled the features, battery pack options, colour options, and variant details ahead of the official launch. Hyundai Creta EV Colour Options
The upcoming Hyundai Creta Electric will be available in 10 colour options. Eight of these will be monotone colours, and two will be dual-tone options. The monotone colours will be divided into metallic and matte offerings. The metallic colour options are named Abyss Black Pearl, Atlas White, Fiery Red Pearl, Starry Night, and Ocean Blue Metallic. The three matte colour options are named Ocean Blue Matte, Emerald Green Matte, and Titan Grey Matte. The two dual-tone colour options will be Atlas White with a Black roof and Ocean Blue Metallic with a Black roof.
If we talk about the variants, the Creta EV will be available in 4 variants, Executive, Smart, Premium, and Excellence. These four variants are expected to be divided based on battery pack options. The brand has revealed two battery pack options for the upcoming EV. It will be powered by a 42 kWh battery pack and a 51.4 kWh battery pack. The former will offer a range of 390 km on a single charge and the latter will give a claimed range of 473 km. Moreover, the Creta EV will be charged from 10-80% in four hours with a home charger and in 58 minutes with a DC fast charger.
The upcoming Creta EV will be packed with a plethora of features such as level 2 ADAS, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment, BOSE premium speakers, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and V2L among other features.
Verdict
The Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular mid-size SUV in the Indian market. The electric version of Creta is expected to get the benefit of its ICE models popularity to get a good number of customers. Hyundai needs to price it strategically to compete well in the segment and to offer a good value proposition. The upcoming Creta EV will compete with MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE 6, and the Tata Curvv EV.
