With the country moving towards BS6 emission norms, Hyundai has finally brought in the BS6 petrol versions of the Grand i10 and Elite i20. What's new is that the carmaker has discontinued the diesel and CVT version from Elite i20 and Grand i10 also comes in two trims now i.e Magna and Sportz.
The prices of Hyundai Elite i20 BS6 petrol starts from Rs 6.50 lakh and the top-spec model fetches till Rs 8.31 lakh while that of Grand i10 starts at Rs 5.87 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.
Sharing more details on the BS6 model of Grand i10 first, the prices for the Magna model has gone up by Rs 8,000 and the Sportz trim sees a decrease of Rs 17,000 in prices. The car is only sold in a 1.2L petrol engine which produces 83 bhp and 114 Nm of torque. The engine gets mated to 5-speed manual gearbox and the power figures are identical to that of BS4.

As you can see in the table above, Hyundai has discontinued the CNG trims that came with both Magna and Sportz trim of the BS4 models. And only single petrol is available with new ones. Several websites are also saying that the CNG trim will return with the Grand i10 Nios in the near future.
Now highlighting a more about the Hyundai Elite i20 BS6 then it now comes in four trims - Magna+, Sportz+, Sportz+ Dual Tone and Asta (O). And the prices for the same are as follows

Hyundai has axed the 1.4L diesel engine as of now as they will be bringing in a new and powerful engine for the next-gen Elite i20. This new 1.5L diesel engine is borrowed from Seltos and produces 115 bhp on tap. However, the power figures will be detuned when it comes with Elite i20.
