Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) recently shared an image on social media that showed the back profile of its next small SUV, the Exter. In earlier teasers, the brand had provided peeks and information about the vehicle. 2023 Hyundai Exter
The newly released picture of the rear profile of the Exter shows H-shaped LED tail lamp and a flat tail gate. The rear bumper gets promiment silver skid plates and integrated reflectors. It also gets high mounted stop lamp and shark fin antenna. The tail gate also gets a thick black line on just above the number plate recess. H-shaped LED DRLs, projector headlamps, a dynamic skid plate, and the distinctive Exter badging highlight the Hyundai EXTER's impressive SUV design when looking at the front profile.
On the features front, the upcoming Hyundai Exter SUV comes with festures like a voice-activated Smart Electric Sunroof and a Dashcam with Dual Camera that can record in front and back with different modes. The Exter will be the first sub-4 metre SUV in India to come standard with six airbags (driver, passenger, curtain and side), across all trim levels, setting a new standard.
The Exter will also come standard with 26 safety features, some of which are accessible only on the entry-level trims (E & S). These safety features include industry-first components like Hill Assist Control (HAC), ESC, and VSM. Additionally, the Exter provides common safety features including Keyless Entry, ABS with EBD, Rear Parking Sensors, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Burglar Alarm, and much more. 3-point seat belts are also provided, along with seatbelt reminders for all seats.

Hyundai Exter Engine & Variants
A 1.2-liter Kappa petrol engine (compatible with E20 fuel) will be available with a 5-speed MT and Smart Auto, as well as a 1.2-liter Bi-fuel Kappa petrol engine with CNG, mated with a 5-speed manual gearbox, for the Hyundai Exter. There will be five model levels available for the Hyundai Exter: EX, S, SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Connect.
