In the coming months, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) plans to introduce the Exter, a new small SUV. About this much-awaited SUV, the company has already teased and revealed several pieces of information. Now, Hyundai has revealed the extensive range of safety features that will be offered in the forthcoming Exter. Hyundai Exter Safety Features
The soon to be launched Hyundai Exter will be the first sub-4 metre SUV in India to come equipped with 6 airbags. Furthermore, it will include 26 safety measures as standard equipment on all models and as an option on the entry-level trims (E & S). The segment-defining innovations ESC (Electronic Stability Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), and HAC (Hill Assist Control) are among these noteworthy features. Additional standard safety features on the Hyundai Exter include 3-point seat belts and seatbelt reminders for every seat, keyless entry, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, ESS (Emergency Stop Signal), burglar alarm, and many more.
The Hyundai Exter will also receive a full complement of over 40 advanced safety measures. The Headlamp Escort function, Auto Headlamps, ISOFIX, Rear Defogger, and Rear Parking Camera are a few examples of these crucial features. The Exter distinguishes itself further by providing industry-first safety features including a Burglar Alarm, TPMS (Highline), and a Dashcam with twin cameras.

Hyundai Exter Engine Options
The Hyundai Exter SUV will offer two powertrain options for customers to choose from. The first option is a 1.2-liter Kappa petrol engine (E20 Fuel Ready) paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox (5MT) or an automated manual transmission (Smart Auto AMT). The second option is a 1.2-liter Kappa petrol engine with CNG compatibility, also mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
